Child's Play 3's Chucky Doll
There will be a 4K Blu-ray DVD release of the first three Child's Play films.
A demonic doll named Chucky was introduced in 1988 when the first film in the Child's Play trilogy was released.
The original horror trilogy has spawned several spinoffs, including Bride of Chucky in 1988, Curse of Chucky in 2013, and the latest Syfy channel TV program Chucky, developed by the original Child's Play creator Don Mancini.
As a result, a new 4K Blu-ray edition of the original trilogy of Child's Play films has been made available.
Scream Factory said the DVDs will feature all three films in the trilogy: Tom Holland's Child's Play in 1998, John Lafia's Child's Play 2 in 1990, and Jack Bender's Child's Play 3 in 1991.
On the 16th of August, the DVDs will be available for purchase.
On their own, the Child's Play films can be purchased, or as part of a Shout Factory-exclusive package that includes additional Chucky-related merchandise.
NECA Toys, a prominent toymaker, has created a unique burned Chucky action figure for the sale.
The Shout Factory website presently has pre-orders available for all of the items.
