Marvel Producer Shares Exciting Filming Update on Captain America 4

Marvel producer Nate Moore has provided an intriguing update on the filming of Captain America 4, confirming that filming will begin in the spring and promising a wonderful screenplay.

For The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie plays the role.

Marvel producer Nate Moore has announced some great casting and directing news for the upcoming film Captain America: New World Order.
The forthcoming MCU film will pick up where Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier left off, with Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) accepting the shield and shield-wielding duties previously held by Captain America (Chris Evans).
The film's momentum started building this past summer when news of its cast and director emerged from San Diego Comic-Con, and now one of the producers behind it has provided even more insight into the project. Development on Captain America: New World Order was announced shortly after the show's finale.

When talking to Collider about his new film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, actor Nate Moore also discussed the making of Captain America: New World Order.
The MCU sequel will begin filming on the originally announced date, as confirmed by the MCU producer, who also expressed the studio's full support for the project.
Just look at what Moore wrote down below:

We've now entered the pre-production phase.
Next year in the spring, we will begin filming.
Yes, [we have a script that we're proud of].

Moore's assurance that filming on Captain America: New World Order will begin in the spring is consistent with director Julius Onah's prior comments on the topic, which suggested that filming would begin at the beginning of the year.
Known for his work on The Cloverfield Paradox and Luce, Onah was announced as the director of the MCU sequel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. The film will be based on a screenplay written by Malcolm Spellman (who also wrote The Falcon and The Winter Soldier) and Dalan Musson (who wrote the show).
Tim Blake Nelson returns to the MCU for the first time since The Incredible Hulk as the film's antagonist, The Leader, and the event also announced that Danny Ramirez and Carl Lumbly will reprise their roles as Joaquin Torres and Isaiah Bradley from the Disney+ series.

After William Hurt's untimely passing earlier this year, one of the more intriguing developments in Captain America: New World Order has been the casting of Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross.
It had been speculated that Ford might enter the MCU for the Thunderbolts film, but it wasn't until later that reputable sources began saying he would show up in the Mackie-led sequel.
This past October, it was announced that Ford will be taking up the role in Thunderbolts and going up against Sam in Captain America: New World Order.

Shira Haas's casting as Sabra in Captain America: New World Order has also been met with criticism due to questions raised about the nature of her comic book and political links.
Marvel has come out in support of the casting, saying that they would be "freshly imagining" Sabra for a modern audience and adopting a new approach to the character.
When Captain America: New World Order opens in cinemas on May 3, 2024, only time will tell if the puzzle pieces fit together.
